The Chemsplash Xtreme FR Coverall is made from a breathable SMS fabric which has been chemically treated to offer limited flame retardant protection to EN14116 Index 1 and also meets Cat III Type 5 & 6.
Whilst being extremely comfortable to wear its strong and robust properties provide an excellent chemical barrier and it is suitable to be worn over a primary EN531 Flame retardant cotton based coverall without compromising the Flame Resist- ant properties of the EN531 garment.
Note: Disposable FR Garments that meet EN14116 or the predecessor standard, EN533:1997, should never be used as primary (sole) Flame Retardant Protection.
